SAME EXACT situation at Charlestown, I got the drink and a smile and she wished me GOOD LUCK! As I continue on the wait staff, let me also comment that at Charlestown, they have drink stations where you can get your own drink if you desire.
She didn't offer it, and she had the worst expression on her face when she reluctantly handed me the drink. I stopped a waitress with a tray and asked for a drink. I've had recent visits at both casinos and noticed one stark difference: at Md Live, you still have to chase down a waitress to get a drink and when you do catch one, she usually has some sort of attitude that is just not acceptable considering I chose to come there. I don't play the tables so I can't comment on that.
I prefer to go to Charlestown and here's why. Live is about 25-30 minutes away, whereas Charlestown is about 1.5 hours away. It's a lot of fun, the kids are grown and I'm not spending any bill money at these casinos. I also go to Charlestown or Hollywood Casino at least once a month.
It's been a year since Md Live opened and I first reviewed that it was 'not a casino yet' and I've been there many times in between, about every other week or so.
